INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon minced jalapeno chili
1-2 pounds asparagus
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup chopped basil
1 large bell peppers sliced thinly
DIRECTIONS
In a pot of water, steam your asparagus, not to wilt but cooked thoroughly. Once steamed, set aside.
Heat a wok or large saucepan with oil, add garlic and chili and toss until fragrant, about 20 seconds.
Add in Asparagus and coat with hot oil.
Add in fish sauce and water slowly allowing it to evaporate evenly.
Add in sugar and fry for another 45 seconds.
Add in basil and bell peppers and cook until basil is fully wilted.
