INGREDIENTS
1.5 lbs cabbage trimmed and cut
1 pkg low mien noodles
2 Tablespoons sesame oil
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
2 Tablespoons sweet soy sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste
Optional toppings/additions:
sesame seeds
ground chicken
green onions
Honey
Siracha
DIRECTIONS
In a stockpot add in water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add in cabbage and cook until tender, about 2 minutes.
Drain and dry off the cabbage and set aside.
Bring another pot of water to a boil and add in low mien noodles, cook as instructed and set aside.
In a large skillet heat up oil and add in cabbage once very hot. and let wilt, which takes about 30 seconds. Transfer cabbage to your large pot and add in noodles, vinegar, soy sauce, and any other toppings or additions.
Once everything is fully incorporated then ENJOY!
TIP: Cooking low mien noodles in a broth really adds a special flavor to this dish and gives you the edge.
