easy to make Strawberry Turnovers

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 90-120 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1 box pre-made pastry dough
1 jar strawberry jam
1 cup strawberries cut in quarters
Egg wash
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Roll our pastry dough and cut into a circle or squares at least 4 inches wide.
Mix jam and strawberries in a bowl. Using a tablespoon spoon in jam and strawberries to one side of the pastry dough circles then fold in half and press down.
Place on a baking sheet and brush with egg wash. Bake for 15-25 minutes or until golden brown

TIP: Serve with Vanilla Greek Yogurt for a dipping sauce
TIP: IF YOUR COOKIE IS TOO BRITTLE AND IS BREAKING WHEN SHAPING THEN PLACE THE COOKIE SHEET BACK INTO THE OVEN FOR 1 MINTUE TO “RE-HEAT” FOR SHAPING
