INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Tablespoons of butter cut into 4 equal pieces

  • 8-10 slices prosciutto diced

  • 8 eggs

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper

  • 1 cup with all-purpose flour

  • 1-1/2 cup gouda cheese shredded

  • 1/4 cup chives minced

  • 1/4 cup parsley minced

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and place a cast iron skillet into the oven while preheating.

  2. Grab a skillet for your stove and heat up, add in shredded prosciutto, and cook until crisp. Just like bacon. The set-aside

  3. In a large bowl blend the eggs, milk, flour, salt, and pepper.

  4. Once fully blended add in 3/4 of the gouda, 3/4 of the crispy prosciutto, and 3/4 of all the herbs.

  5. Mix everything until fully incorporated.

  6. Carefully take out your warmed cast iron skillet and place 4 slices of butter in the skillet.

  7. Once the butter is melted pour in your egg mixture and then place back in the oven and cook for 25 minutes or until the edges are puffy and golden.

  8. Once out of the oven add to the top the rest of your prosciutto, gouda, and herbs.

  9. Let cool slightly and serve.
